Outlet with Timer

One of the coolest gifts Stew gave me for Christmas our first year married was this Belkin outlet that has a timer on it. He had observed my OCD tendencies agonizing about whether I had turned off my flat iron after leaving the house on a daily basis and thought this might help ease my mind. The home I grew up in as well as that of the Grow girls had experiences with things catching fire, so it's one of those things that makes me nervous. I keep the outlet plugged into my bathroom socket and only plug my flat iron into that outlet. I set it on a 30 min setting so I never have to worry if I've unplugged my flat iron (even though I still do everyday...but just in case).

Oh, and based on the name it's apprently a useful tool in conserving energy, if you're into that kind of thing :)
