"Blowing Kisses" Lullaby Album by Cori Connors

If you have a baby or are looking for a thoughtful gift for someone who does, I highly recommend the lullaby album “Blowing Kisses” by Cori Connors. Cori is a singer/songwriter with the most gentle and heavenly voice that will sooth your baby and calm your own nerves. 

When my first baby would cry inconsolably I would  turn on this album and her gentle voice helped both of us calm down. One song in particular, “Sleep Little Lamb”, would make our son stop crying within the first few notes of the song. Her soft melodies and relate-able lyrics are something I treasure. If her songs get stuck in your head you’ll enjoy singing them, unlike so many other children’s songs I’ve come across. Another reason I love Cori’s music is I grew up in a home just a few doors down from her and have been blessed by her music most of my life. I attended her annual Christmas concert in November 2014 when I was 7 months pregnant with my first child. She performed some of her songs from her then recently released lullaby album. The combination of it being a voice I associate with my childhood, the anticipation of my first child and the excitement of Christmastime made the album magical for me personally. But from an unbiased perspective, it really is a phenomenal lullaby album.
